Pumpkins!

This is our first Halloween as a married couple! Last year we went to Utah for Halloween so we didn't carve any pumpkins, but this year we are in town!

Here is John tracing and cutting his pumpkin.

OUR PUMPKINS!!!

The BIG Pumpkin is no more.

John bought this big pumpkin over a year ago and it has been sitting on our front porch ever since! Well, until today.....

 Not to long ago we noticed this hole where it was starting to go bad so we decided to cut it up and throw it away before it turned into mush.

 Our Friend Adam helped John carry it out to the sidewalk where we cut it open.

 We were surprised to see how good the inside still looked.

 and that some of the seeds had started sprouting! John has been wanting to grow our own Big Mac pumpkin so we are saving some of the seeds and planting our own!

 It's sad to see our big pumpkin go but I'm excited to see if we can grow our own!

So I have decided to start a blog. I'm not exactly sure why, but I am.

I'm sitting here waiting for some dough to rise and looking at Pinterest (the best website ever) and I decided to create a blog. I don't do much that people would consider interesting but maybe having this blog will inspire me....
